It should show up as a Versatility Battle Pack on your screen, not a regular gold BP.
If they did give you a code specifically for the Versatility Pack, I think they did their part.
There have been issues of people not receiving their BPs in an instant fashion.
Perhaps give it a few days and if it still doesn't show up contact EA support with your Code in hand.

Yeah it comes in the Special Battle Pack.
I think it's Red in color.

If you got a code. It specifically said it was for the Versatility BP but didn't show up in game...
If this is on console there might be a 1MB Download file for it? You could try uninstalling that 1MB file and redownloading it.
I have Deluxe and it shows up as having a few 1MB DLC files so I assume yours is similar.

I would give it a few days if it all appears right. If it still doesn't show up contact the EA Support from above and see what they say. That sticky will likely be updated when more info is known too.
It sounds like people do eventually get them after waiting a day or two though from what I can recall from other threads.
