ps3 battlefield 3 - no weapons when i spawn issue

help please! today when i started playing bf3 i played the tail end of a map and when the next map started I have now apparently lost the ability to have weapons. i've rebooted, restarted the game ...

Have you tried to suicide maybe?

    Suicide does not work. 

    I had to delete my Game Data Utility twice and actually log in and out of PSN a few times before it worked. Eventually however, the deletion of the Data Utility should fix it. Keep trying, cheers!
