PS4 New game update required.
I am new to ps4 and cannot play battlefield 1 online as it says a new game update is required. what does this mean, how do i fix it?

Hey! I'm having this same issue with Battlefield 1. I've been playing the game for weeks with no issue, but the day the platoons came out I received this error. I have no updates in my notifications. I have internet connection. Any ideas? Thanks
I have been playing when the game came out and now I am receiving same issues. If I delete and reinstall will I loose my stats?
