[PS4][Hardline] Can't go online at all

Hello everyone, I own Hardline on disc, and remember playing the multiplayer years ago. I wanted to play again today, but I keep getting hit with an error that reads "You have lost your connection to PSN and thus lost your connection to the EA Servers. Please check your ethernet cable. You will be unable to access any online features until you sign in to PSN and the EA Servers again." any time I try to access any online functionality from the menu (Multiplayer, Premium, Store, Battlelog). However, I'm clearly online on PSN, and able to play Battlefield 1 without any issues on that fronts, so I'm not sure what's wrong. I tried opening up a case with EA support through the help EA website but I'm completely unable to access a chatroom, both on pc and phone, so I'm here. Of note, I also own the game on PC, and made sure that my PS4 account was marked as active on Battlelog, and that's when I noticed that none of my stats from PS4 were synced (no campaign progress when I clearly finished it for example). I don't know if it's a problem with my account, but I was also unable to do simple things on my battlelog agent page, like change my avatar, when I was able to do it for my PC agent. If anyone has any clues on how I can either contact support properly or solve this issue I would be open to suggestions. I already followed the guides on how to contact support and have an active case but I haven't been contacted yet, and I already checked many EA Help support pages regarding Hardline, to no avail.

  • Make sure you know your EA account password before following the steps below since they will log you out of your EA account and require you to log back in to your EA account.

Is your PlayStation account linked to your EA account?

Try removing all trusted devices from your EA Account.

Have you tried logging out of your EA account in Battlefield Hardline's game settings menu, then logging back in?

I can play BF1 online without problems so my PSN account is undoubtedly linked.
My only trusted device seems to be the internet browser I'm currently using.
I don't see a single option pertaining my EA account in any of the settings.
I can't edit anything on my Battlelog that concerns my PSN agent, but I can edit my PC agent, so I'm almost certain this issue has to do with my Battlelog, but noone in the support team seems to care, as they are apparently convinced the problem lies with the PSN servers despite me telling them at least 5 times it's not. I've ran out of patience, but I really appreciate you already being more helpful than they ever could be.
