Re: Battlefield 1 lags extremely everytime i join a server

@x_Crufire_x Same, I bet it's because of EGS gave away Star Wars Battlefront 2 for free which couldn't connect to servers for 2 days and it was officially admitted that servers can't handle so much new players. I hope EA didn't gave away some BF1 servers to Battlefront 2 to fix one problem by creating a new one.

  • @Lawwwgun Sadly its not because of that.
I have this problem since i installed Battlefield 1 again, which was 2 months ago.
The Star Wars giveaway from EGS was one week ago.

I spoke to an EA rep and did all this trouble shooting, it turns out that my internet has some issues, so I’m switching out the modem and router to see if that fixes it. Although I still think EA servers have something to do with it as well. I’ve had similar issues in the l

past. I’ll keep you guys posted as to what happens after.

  • @MrSlip310 Greetings, i just found the solution for this problem and wanted to let you know, in case it works for you as well!

What i did was a clean deinstall of all graphic drivers and related files with DDU:

    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Make sure to restart your PC in safe mode before you use it.
Then just run the program and select the things you want to deinstall.
Its really easy to use and also shows you whats recommended to deinstall and whats not.

After it cleaned everything the program will restart your PC in normal mode.
Now you just install the latest Driver again and you`re done!

Battlefield 1 is now completely lag free for me and runs as smooth as butter on Ultra settings, like it used to!

I hope that helps and please let me know if that was also your solution.
