"Server Disconnected; lost connection to session" Error on every server.

Getting this error on every single server I try to join. Tried opening the required ports, didn't work. Tried setting IP to DMZ also has not worked. Disabling AV software having no effect either....

My fix: Buy a new network card.

Tested my current network chipset (Qualccom Etheros Killer Network) with many online games, what happens? Perfect connection! (including BF4). Use with BF1? no dice (pun not intended).

This game DOES NOT SUPPORT the Qualccom Atheros drivers, old or new. This includes both the Suite and driver only versions.

Realtek LAN chipset works perfect (Edimax PCI-E Network card).

I really hope a) people see this and it fixes it for them, and b) Dice patch the game.

EDIT: this is on an MSI Z97 G45 mobo.

    this must be a bad joke?!? buy a new network card? 4 real? EA pls confirm!!!! I have the same problems with connection.

      Zackzockt, are you also using the Qualcomm network chipset?

      I need to see if all the people that are having this problem are on the same Qualcomm chipset, Dice needs to know ASAP.

        Network cards route the work pretty much the same, there's a difference in speed, latency etc. but that's about it, nothing that should cause BF1 to not work on certain cards. What can make a difference however is the software, like the software that accompanies the Killer network cards. Not running that software however should be easy to test. Doing a clean boot to rule out third party software interference in general is probably a good idea:
