Highly doubt you'll see old gen support simply do to hardware limitations. If they do get the support they definitely won't be cross played with next gen. No way in hell OG could handle 128p game modes and map wide destruction.

@CyberDymeI just switched from PC to console because I got tired of playing against “super players”, so if crossplay is indeed added, I hope it’s an option you can turn off. Or that there are rentable servers which can be set to console only.

@CyberDyme Thanks for the update. I'm surprised that he says next gen only set at 90%. I think with the lack of next gen consoles out there, they might kill the game out of the gate if they leave the previous gen consoles out of the mix. I hope that 10% chance of backwards compatibility comes through, just for the sake of the games success.

Also, I hope we get a single player campaign. The lack of one if BF5 was a real buzz kill.

Not a fan of the natural events. Normal weather okay, but every gaming having some huge natural event seems off.

The 2013 hardware including the 2017 pro systems shouldn't be supported in my eyes. People might not have the new systems now, but by release they should be easy to find. From a technical standpoint, I believe it has to do with the 5400 RPM HDDs.

I don't just believe the hype but the way I see this is if he is wrong about those at 100% then his reputation will be dead, I'm not sure why he would destroy his rep if these were not true.

I think the title is correct, DICE already put out an image and I think that's it.
Being a hired unit sounds really good allowing us to customise our own single character and progress it.
Dynamic weather, natural events, day n night cycle, epic destruction seems fairly normal for DICE to move towards along with more players.
Returning maps... ughh, here comes metro. I'm not a fan of repeated maps.
Next gen only and crossplay I'm interested in, I don't want to have to buy a new console just to play with friends, I prefer sticking to PC.

The list overall seems pretty realistic, but I will say if there is no last gen and campaign then this could be something really special; because they have had a ton of time on this, full resources which would all be focused on a next gen multiplayer only.

@Popa2caps Im in agreement with you on the weather events effecting the map every game. I think it would get really annoying pretty quickly. I'm hoping if they have custom servers, the host can disable weather events.

While most of those sound good, few seem like we already have and just expanding.
We got dynamic weather and epic destruction since BF1
I hope perks are not tired to squad like BFV. Encourage and rewarding teamwork is fine but depend on others to follow orders is bad.
