Unable to connect and play multiplayer matches
I have been trying to get into multiplayer games for about 3 hours of total in-game time with no success. I am able to browse servers, view their stats, and begin joining. I am unable to get passed this stage, and while the game is loading up I am disconnected from the servers every single time. I typically get an error stating that I have I have been disconnected from the servers due to high latency, but I occasionally will see other errors related to connectivity or the game will simply crash.
I have gone through the Connectivity Troubleshooting guide and done the following:
1) Added the listed ports to my routers port forwarding list for both UDP and TCP traffic.
2) Ensured that my firewall includes whitelist entries for Origin.exe and Battlefield 1.
3) Enabled (and disabled) UPnP.
4) Disabled both my router firewall and my windows firewall.
5) Attempted various combinations of resetting local-save info and reinstalling the game.
6) Updated the game after installation.
7) Updated network and video drivers (I am testing on integrated graphics and WIFI for now and I'm unable to use a wired connection for the time being.)
8) Restarted my router and computer multiple times between attempts.
9) I'm in the northeastern US and have tried regional servers in US-East, US-West, and Europe, all giving the same result.
None of these attempts have provided any results or any change in the behavior of the game at all.
I have never had any issues with connectivity for other games, and my internet is 25mbit down with around 24ms of latency. This should be more than adequate, but I'm unsure what requirements the EA servers have. I can't imagine that sub-20ms latency is REQUIRED for the game.
I'm running out of ideas on things to test here, and without any official statements on known issues, I'm hesitant to keep trying when I could miss out on the possibility of a refund in the event that it never ends up working properly.
