Am not eligible for 50% returning Battlefield players discount when I own BF4

I am very upset that I have not been able to obtain the discount despite being an owner of Battlefield 1. I received the discount email offering 50% off Battlefield V purchase on Xbox One. I purchased the game through the in game channel and despite being assured the discount would be applied at the checkout I was charged the full price.

Given the poor reviews of the game I WOULD NOT have purchased at the full price but as I received an inducement I chose to take a chance. 

The biggest insult is that EA blame Microsoft for the issue and Microsoft say it is EA's issue and neither party will agree to refund the difference of £30.

I fully intend to pursue this matter and intend to raise a small claims court case to attempt recovery of this loss. I feel this experience is very shabby nd allied to the complaints being received bout the game would predict that in the fullness of time such incompetence and denial will result in this companies demise.

We are not dealing with people who are responsible for the promotion.

Can someone reply with the correct contact information for the promotion department?

I have purchased each and every BF title since day one.

Not only have I purchased each and every tile but the top of the line versions.

I have not had any sort of information sent directly to me about any 50% discount to purchase BFV.

I have also been a subscriber to Star Wars The Old Republic since day one .

I am now thinking of canceling my subscription because the value is not worth my hard earned cash anymore and issues like this,

EA, Origin, Microsoft all need to post information regarding the 50% off promotions requirements to clear all this up or they will end up losing more of the customer base like myself.
