For what it's worth, my issue was reinstalling windows and the game and having old config data/files stored in OneDrive, which was backed up in my Documents folder automatically. Deleting the Battlefield V folder in that directory (C:\Users\%username%\Documents) resolved the issue
@AbsoluteAUnit deleting the BF5 folder on one drive documents worked for me. Thank you 🙏🏻
