So, you need to locate the folder where the install of the ea app is.
For me it was C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
Then, you need to right click on "EALauncher.exe", then click properties, then on the "Compatibility" tab I turned on "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and "Run this program as an administrator" and hit apply.
Repeat the same process for the "Link2ea.exe" just enable the "compatibility mode" where it says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7 and you don't need to select the "Disable fullscreen optimizations".
Apart from those changes, I also have whitelisted the "bfv.exe" and the previous 2 ".exe"s in the Windows firewall and in the antivirus I have.
This is what worked for me, if you need anymore help, let me know and I will try to help as much as I can.
Take care!

For me it was "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EADesktop\EADesktop"
Then, you need to find "EALauncher.exe", right click on it and then click "Properties". Then, go to the "Compatibility" tab and click on "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and "Run this program as an administrator" and hit apply.
Then repeat this for "Link2ea.exe", but you also enable under the "Compatibility mode" box the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7. You also don't need to enable "Disable fullscreen optimizations" in this file.
Keep in mind that I whitelisted in the windows firewall and in my antivirus the "bfv.exe" and both the previous files.
This is what worked for me, if you encounter any other problems, you can tell me and I will try to help ipiresies as much as possible. Take care y'all!
