Just want to confirm this is also happening to me on my desktop PC AMD (7700x). It started happening yesterday after I close the game (like 50% of the time), then it quickly evolved to happening every time I launched the game.
I did a FULL Windows format, installed nothing but EA Desktop and BFV. However, I installed the game fine until it asked me to install the anticheat, I press "yes" then my PC reboots, and I haven't booted up the game yet. I am now 99% sure the issue is caused by the anticheat, and that's also why Kernel anticheats are bad.
edit: seems to have found a "temporary" fix, I went on both properties on EA Desktop and BFV and checked "open as administrator". Launched the EA desktop, then BFV. I didn't get a reboot but the game crashed, so what I did was remove both EA Desktop "open as admin" then repaired Battlefield V. Now the game seems to work fine (at least for now?)
Hope it works for you. Also, hope EA sees this so they can stop messing around with their broken anticheat.
edit2: it seems like closing the game with ALT+F4 or closing it from the task bar (right click-> close) still reboots the PC. Even closing it normally also causes this issue. Not sure how to fix this
