Battlefield V refuses to work

As the title suggests it will not work. At first when I installed it said my Anti-Cheat wasnt updated. 
So I launched the anti-cheat installer, updated it and tried again. Now instead the game still doesnt start but goes straight back to the launcher. So I tried reinstalling the anti-cheat in the way EA claims to. Uninstall it through the installer and download the stand-alone. Still did not work so i tried repairing the game. Still didnt work. i tried reinstalling the game and it still did not work. so i decided to completely delete the game, launcher, and anti-cheat. reinstall the launcher and anti-cheat and i am back to square one. I am not sure whats wrong with my game and nor can i find where to ask EA support for help

adding to this: I have tried rebooting my pc and also tried updating my drivers aswell
