BFV low to zero fps

So earlier today I was playing the game and it was plenty fine, getting my well above 100+fps on my rig, which is newer hardware, and had to stop as i needed to get some school work done and eat. I come back from this break and when the game is booted up (after the BFV splash it has (as steam says 1fps)) about no fps, its a slide show, the game basically will not function. I have already validated the files, and it returned to my normal fps only to kill it self the second I tried to get in game, and now validating files does nothing, Iv tried restarting my pc, uninstalling and reinstalling, made sure my Nvidia drivers were upto date, even brought the graphics to basically zero via geforce experience and it still is broken. I'm out of options and ideas on why my game would kill it self in a span of 4 to 5 hours of not being played but if anyone could find a fix for this that would be great
my hardware is a Ryzen 7 5800x, GTX 1070, 16gig 4400Hz ram, on a Samsung 970 m.2 ssd

    Hey @VEKTUS

    Try this

Completely removing from its roots Steam then installing It might fix the problem

    Program use Revo Uninstaller

    +

    Repair Registry+clear cache

    use Ccleaner

  • @VEKTUS maybe possible that any changes in the ingame settings changed to default which you probably had set up different before?

    Greets,

I have Citrix and recently updated it.  Having your same issue.  What did you do to resolve specific to Citrix?
