@TTZ_Dipsy They don´t have to, but on their own behalf they better have something good coming with BF6. A notification would be a great option and I asked for that short after the release of BFV. Not only would it give the reporter a feeling of satisfaction, but it would also reduce the amount of incoming reports imo.
We´ll see, what they have up their sleeves for the new game.

@N4v1s How about data protection? I think cheaters also have a right to data protection. And not every ban is permanent. So the players come back (no longer cheating) and everyone still thinks they're cheaters.
Hence the question of data protection.
I wouldn't think that's a bad thing, but can a company like EA just do it that way?

- 4 years ago@x--Fusi--x That is defently a valid point, but just have a look at CS:GO. They avoided that problem with their reviewing system. Something similar could be done in BF. The notification could as well only be activaded after a person has reported x amount of suspected cheaters. In that case the message would only contain the fact, that one of the reported players has receive a ban and wouldn´t contain any data. I´m not a lawyer, but there are defently ways around this problem.
After all, the most important aspect of the reporting system for BF6 is, that it is implemented in the game directly and easy to use. I just feel like a well thought out system with some sort of feedback would help to regain the trust of the community.- x--Fusi--x4 years agoSeasoned Ace@N4v1s I think posting the number of daily / weekly and monthly penalties might help too.
Including time bans such as permanent bans.
So that everyone can see that there are punishments.- 4 years ago@x--Fusi--x Yeah, you´re right, that would at least be some information and not the silence we are experiencing with BFV.
