My Steam Account Linked to the Wrong EA Account – Need Help!

I'm facing an issue where my Steam account has been linked to a different EA account that I don't control. As a result, I'm unable to play Battlefield because I can't access the correct EA account. I haven't been able to contact the person who made this connection, and I'm stuck with this problem.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What steps did you take to resolve the issue? I've already reached out to EA Support, but I’d really appreciate any additional advice or tips from those who have gone through this.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

  • Hi celebi16

This is something which EA Help will need to fix. They're the only ones who can access your account information.

Since you mention that you've already contacted them, it'd be worth keeping an eye on your inbox and in https://help.ea.com/en/my-cases/ for messages from them.

It might also be worth bearing in mind that EA Help will most likely need to confirm account ownership with you, so they may ask you certain questions as part of their KYC process.

    Hi,

Thank you for your message. I've already contacted EA Help, but I haven't received any response so far. If there's anything you can do to help, I would really appreciate it.

It can take a few days to get a response depending on their queues and so on. All I can advise at the moment is to keep an eye on your inbox  and My Cases. If it's been longer than a week, though, then it may be worth creating a new case (you can reference the original case number) or try getting a live chat on the Help site.

Since this involves your account information, the only people who can makes these changes are EA Help unfortunately.
