Today I came back to battlfield V but im dealing with launch problem that looks like this: "Security Violation Your Windows version is not supported. Please upgrade to the minimum supported version. For Information please see: help.ea.com/help/pc/ea-anticheat (67)" I had read literally every forum about it, checked windows update, restarted pc, nothing seems to help.
Some people say it started happening after an anti cheat update.

  • Hello @NoSoulThere,

    It sounds frustrating to deal with that error. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Windows Version: Make sure your Windows version is up to date. Battlefield V requires at least Windows 10, so double-check your version by going to Settings > System > About.

    2. Update EA Anti-Cheat: Ensure you have the latest version of EA Anti-Cheat installed. You can do this by uninstalling it from your system and letting the game reinstall it when you launch.

    3. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the Battlefield V executable and select "Run as administrator." This can sometimes help with permission issues.

    4. Verify Game Files: If you're using Origin or the EA app, verify the game files. This process checks for missing or corrupted files and replaces them.

    5. Disable Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the game’s shortcut, go to Properties, then Compatibility, and make sure "Run this program in compatibility mode" is unchecked.

    6. Check for Third-party Software: Sometimes, third-party software (like overlays or screen recorders) can interfere with anti-cheat programs. Try disabling them temporarily.

    7. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above works, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. This ensures that all files are up to date.

    8. Contact EA Support: If the issue persists, it may be best to reach out directly to EA Support for further assistance.

  • this is really frustating, man i just want to play the stupid game i dont want to waste my time looking for fixes to software problems, i have the same issue with fc 24 and i literally cant find anything helpful, even people with windows 11 have this problem

  • @sulekko How is it? You got any fix? It seems that EA just doesn't care about their customers, 0 support in fixing problem.

    @NoSoulThere,

    Honestly, I'm surprised nothing worked, never had someone with this response. Did you talk with EA support, did they provide you with any useful information?

    Best regards,

  • @danisoff Yes, i contacted with support.

    "Thanks, Maxs. I finished with the developers. they told me that we took all the needed steps, and since none has worked. They have to solve this with Microsoft and see what is the issue, because it's clear that your windows is supported."

    "This can take a few days, and they will let you know the updates on the forum once they are finished. Okay?"

    @NoSoulThere,

    Unfortunately, nothing much can be said since you have tried all of the usual steps. This is most likely an issue that is more complex and needs to be dealt with by the support team. My advice would be to talk to support again, try getting an update from them via chat.

    Best regards,
