When I launch the game I am not getting any sound at all.I have googled around and read other forums posts and nothing seems to work for me. My sound is fine everywhere else except for trying to play bf5.I have only ONE sound device enabled in windows and that is my headphones. Everything else is unplugged or disabled. I'm using a strix soundcard with my headphones connected to that.I have the latest nvidia drivers and I have reinstalled and repaired the game and that hasn't helped at all. I have also checked if I had any other audio programs running and I don't. Everything else on my computer works fine but for some reason bf5 hates me.Any ideas would be appreciated

I had the same issue and solved it by downloading drivers for audio AGAIN (in my case MSI motherboard). It seems like the game, or the windows 10 did something to the drivers. After the audio reinstall it worked no problems whatsoever.

Please the the volume settings in the game settings,you can see if sound driver requires any update or please get back with your system specification.

I can give you more info but what else do you need to know? I just fresh installed again and I am still having this issue.

I got the same problem, Ive had some audio issues since I started playing BFV. And today I think it crashed my audio drivers or something. Now I dont get any sound from the game. Ive reinstalled, updated and repaired both audio drivers and game. :/

Hey @Ifapeverynight @noodeath,

Right click the speaker icon on your Task Bar, and make sure the device you are using is set to the correct Output Device.

You can also check in Origin, under Application Settings ---> More ---> Voice, and make sure you have your Speakers selected for your Output Device.

I found a fix if you have an Asus motherboard. Remove sonic studio, worked for me, might work for you.

My sound 'seems' to be okay when opening the game now (sound originally went off when starting) but now sound goes off when I create a squad with my friend.

In BF I've turned VOIP off. In Origin you cannot turn VOIP off.

But, I do want to use voice chat with my mate but it is not working. Also tried using Discord in the background but this means sound is either just BF sound, or just voice.

Also, sometimes when turning on Nvidia Experience in game overlay also 'sometimes' turns the sound off.

Asus motherboard. MH1000 Sony Mk2 headphones via bluetooth. Windows 10. A cheap bluetooth dongle.

could you please tell more , i am new to pc gaming and i have no audio at all when i play bf 5, my specs-

16 gb ram
4 gb, gtx 1050 Ti
i have update all my drivers but no luck , please help

Edit :- It was due to sonic studio , after i uninstalled it the problem was resolved
If you have asus, and are experiencing this problem please uninstall sonic studio.
