I think I was having the same problem, I updated my game and it still won’t let me even get past the title screen...

7 years agoHey @Phishyphryday can you connect? There were some download/connectivity issues earlier but it should be cleared up by now. Try restarting your console this way before jumping into the game.
- Power cycle the console: http://bit.ly/XB1_PowerCycle
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
If you're still not able to connect after those steps, we've actually seen others get online after making some DNS changes on the Xbox that's mentioned in threads here:

- 7 years agoYup I tried clearing the MAC address, that didn’t work, I tried changing my dns settings and that didn’t work either...
