Today's patch seems to have helped with my issues. I can now load into any of the single player missions and return to the menu without the game crashing, also for the first time ever I was able to load up the practice range without issues in DX12 with DXR and DLSS enabled.
On the downside I am still getting a lot of texture flickering with raytracing enabled but at least the game is a lot more stable.
