@EA_AticI tried the clean start but it didn't change anything unfortunately.
I checked the hardware and it seems like the CPU is maxing out but I attached a screenshot since I am far from an expert. Upon trying the clean start I witnessed the 30 Hz drop again and put a screenshot of it (white line in the graph) in this message.

EDIT: the temperature readings (regarding i have a laptop) are attached as well now. They are just below 100 degrees celsius at max
2nd EDIT: I might have to add thet the problem wasn't there all the time with BF 5. It started maybe one to two months ago. BF 1 ran fine on the same laptop but now has the same issues as BF 5.
@EA_Atic Sorry for spamming a bit but today I tried to keep an eye on the ressource monitor whilst having the extrapolation spikes and i witnessed this drop in CPU-usagewithin the timeframe of the spikes. Hope it helps!
It was down to overheating. I thank you very much for leading me in the right direction.
