Hey @yoryibzs, is there any hardware that you are seeing is maxing out or overheating in the PC?
Also make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.
Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

- Good afternoon, I've done everything you said, including the temperatures are OK.
Problem really in the game ..
PS: I'm not just complaining about this problem, people with gtx 1080ti, gtx 1080 gtx 1060 are also complaining Have you tried the following?
Open up "NVIDIA Control Panel" -> from the NVIDIA Control Panel, select the "Manage3D settings" from the left column -> click on the Power management mode drop down box and select "Prefer Maximum Performance".
In Windows 10 make sure your Power Options are set to Max Performance as well.
Just to repeat both Nvidia and Windows OS power options should be at Max Performance.
Seen this on GTX 1080s, another option is to toggle between DX11 and DX12 from ingame
Both my machines are running smoothly with EVGA GTX 970 4GB and EVGA 1060 6GB.

Your memory, are those "HyperX 16gb 2133 mhz" a 2 x 8GB or 4 x 4GB kit?
System: i7 6700k (4,00Ghz), MSI Z170A Gaming M5, 32Gb DDR4 (2 * 16Gb, 2133), Gigabit RTX2080. No overclocking. Yesterday I noticed that on some cards there is a drawdown to 14 FPS (3840*2160) with Direct X 12!!! Turned on Direct X 11 - it clearly 57-60fps. Where is the optimization? Where is RayTracing? (windows 10 is not update to version 1809) Why did I buy a videocard with technology that is not there...

The Windows 1809 update is required in order to use Raytracing.
- Yes, I understand that we need version 1809, which still can’t get out ...

Yes, I noticed that the lags relate only to the Narvik card - Anonymous7 years ago
Got a similiar problem, I think. Bought me an upgrade from my old 970GTX to a 2070 RTX. The game runs SLOWER now than before and the thing that really makes me wondering is, that changing details from ULTRA to LOW does not change a thing. From the low 40s to maximum 80 FPS. When i do look at the ground ill maybe get 100 (FULLHD)
Meanwhile I can now play The Witcher 3 on max details absolutley smooth.
Got the newest Windows 10 Build 1809, an i5 6500, 16gigs of RAM and a Gigabyte Z170 Board...

Are you using DX12 currently?
You can manually apply the 1809 update from this link:
- You will not believe, but even this option I have already tried. Windows 10 at the end rolls back 1809 to 1803. So unfortunately this is not an option.

So it seems like the 417.22 drivers may be an issue, can you try the 417.01 set?
- The same problem in the "Training ground". Drivers 417.22. Windows 10 1803.

You are not alone. I had this same issue on my other desktop. I recently built a new desktop, gtx970ftw, ryzen 2600x asus b450, gskill 16gb 3000mhz, corsair 750w and a 480gb ssd. I'm still only getting 60% gpu usage. No way is my 2600x bottle necking my 970. There is something wrong with bfvs performance. There is no reason we should have to use pre-rendered frames to achieve this. I'm not the only person to report this, it is a known issue with bfv. You basically need a 2080 to get decent frames since the game (without FFR on) uses 60% of your gpu. Nobody wants FFR on, even at 2 pre-rendered frames you can feel the input lag. Sorry for the rant but this issue needs to seriously be looked at.
Same gtx 1060 every game run smooth but here... i got like 50 fps when in gunfight it drops to 25/30... unplayable and the most funny thing is that,im playing on the lowest setting and geforce experience when optymizating my game make it on high/ultra...

Same issue here! gtx 980, 4930k (6c/12t) 16gb ddr3,...
Tried so many fix ever since the game got released Im getting tired of it!
Made a post but they stopped answering after I tried all their attemps to fix it (told them my OC was 100% stable they made me try with pc at stock, already knew that wasnt going to fix anything) Now they are obviously out of ideas and just ignoring me
- I fixed, formatted the PC... and put the i9 9900k processor ...
Now runs at 150fps same problem here, gtx 1070 ti. Dropped from 130 fps to 57, I still don't know if it is caused by bf5 update or by nvidia last driver.
formatting your PC and install BF V THE ORIGIN
System: i7 6700k, MSI Z170A Gaming M5, 32Gb DDR4 (2133, 2*16Gb), Gigabyte RTX 2080, Benq PD2700U (HDR10,UHD). Reinstalled Windows 10 version 1809. The latest drivers from Nvidia. UHD resolution, ultra settings, HDR ON + enabled DXR (medium) - it is not possible to play (20-45fps). With QHD resolution, 60 fps is stable. I play on UHD resolution all settings Ultra, but in DirectX 11. DirectX 12 even without DXR is not highly optimized (15-45 fps). Unfortunately, the problem with poor performance lies precisely in DirectX 12! This can be seen when, without DXR in equal settings with DirectX 11 FPS subside. Unfortunately, in online games, performance is more important than the beauty of reflections (IMHO).
I've also noticed some issues with DX12. I'm running MSI MAG Tomahawk board with I7 9700k, 16gb 2133 ram and 970 video card, and just a couple days ago upgraded my monitor to a 144hz gsync monitor. Prior to upgrading my monitor I was running the game at 60z with DX12 fine for several weeks, but when I upgraded my monitor I updated my video driver. Perhaps this was a mistake, as I noticed after playing with DX12 enabled for a while my FPS would crash. Sometimes it would take 45min of game time before this would happen and other times I could play for almost 2hrs before running into problems. Once the problems start my CPU usage starts spiking like crazy and on the cpu graph it looks like someone about to have a heart attack on an ekg with constant huge spikes and dips. The spiking seeming to be triggered anytime I start moving around in game. As far as I can tell my CPU temps are fine usually hanging around 60C in game GPU at 80C MOS also around 60C. I tried restoring my system back to before I updated my video driver and the monitor upgrade but this didn't fix the problem. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers and using older versions of video drivers but still the issue persists. In fact the only thing that seems to keep the game playable for hours on end is using DX11 however I get almost 30FPS less on avg using DX11 which is why I'm now reinstalling the game after doing a hard reset of windows 10. I'm doing this in part because I know it is what I should have done when I upgraded my mobo and cpu over 3 weeks ago, but didn't because of the hassles involved and because for a while all seemed to be working fine but now I really want DX12 to work so I can get those 30 extra frames.
I'd also like to point out that I'm not overclocking anything, and have run occt and intel extreme tuning utility a number of times on my system to stress the cpu, memory and systemboard and have not run into issues running these stress tests. I've also run a couple of benchmarks which seem to indicate my system running better then avg for its hardware configuration.

Why EA? WHY??? why do you constantly tell us to change drivers, get windows oct patch, do this , do that, change this, change that! Then we all tell you those "remedies " do nothing! NOTHING! who ever got this game to run smooth congratulations!
Fix this game!
- H1N1-JohnyBoy7 years agoRising Rookie
I definitily lost hope they will ever fix it
- I'd like to add I finished the hard reset of windows 10 and reinstalled the game and still the issue remains. Also tried a ton of other things like disabling all power save features in bios and different refresh rates but the problems persist. It seems based on my testing that DX12 works great until after a while it stops using some of the CPU cores that it had been when it was working good, but I'm really not sure that aside from confirming my temps are good and that there are not power delivery issues that there's anything else I can do to try to correct the issue.
