Re: Make this game one of the greatest

@alanwake65789

I hear what you're saying but you have to remember the next Battlefield title isn't due to be released until 2021, there's plenty of time to add new weapons, gadgets, vehicles, maps, factions, cosmetics, etc.

If they were to release everything right at the beginning they would have no substance for the long term and the player base would dry up due to lack of new content.

Just remember; good things come to those who wait 🙂

    Even bf4s terrible start was resolved by 18 months. We are almost 2 years in.  I loved bf. After the 5.2 changes i will never buy another bf.

    You  can tell an infinity ward ex cod excutive joined. And surprise 3 months later 5.2 to capture new gamers....also quick snapping, bad ttk and poor netcode. Its bs. EA has * this up with its financial strategic planning forcing things into the game to satisfy non gaming requirements. Very sad.

    Recently an EA executive stated they were concerned about the current state of the bf brand. Its very worrying.

    @aztec1289 Your initial statement is wrong. BFV is out for 14 month now, so not even close to 2 years. With your approach you should give it another 4 month to be as polished as BF4 is. 😉
  • Same team....so no. The fact they tried the ttk in bf1in first 3 months. community dropped out, the came back once ttk reverted some 6 months later. Bf5 tried dropped reintiatated and not rverted even though received very poorly

    No this tells me Dice are taking the loyalty of longterm players for granted in the search  to grow.

    They havent responded effectively to the overwhelmingly negative feed back regarding 5.2and5.2.2.

    So sorry my 2 year  statement is wrong.  That you think i should have to wait through rhis process when Dice  have experienced this several times tells me, no i shouldnt return, Dice is counting on it and thus taking me for granted. BF is pretty much the only reason i even bought an XB, so next rotation unless Tarkov crosses platform, i wont be buying another console, and i wont be buying another BF on release. Potentially this will be the last BF i ever play based on the treatment of long term players by EA and Dice. Looking at all the youtubers stating exactly the same feelings. Westie, ack ack, level cap...the player base reiterated these concerns and they were ignored because of an obviously executive board directive that has ignored historic and recorded player interaction and feedback.

    Further to this the changes around weapons gain in chapter 6 smacks of pay to win. How long before BF joins the sad line games like Anthem or Star wars where loot boxes are gambling methods to get ahead.

    Why would i buy another BF if i feel this and have watched repetitions of the same bad decisions by EA and Dice? Sorry but unless the reviews and feedback through dedicated youtubers turn positive - because my trust for Dice and Ea has gone.

    Now this isnt an overnight decision. I waited through BF4s horrendous start and even defended the efforts made. And it worked out. But i do not see the same level of acceptance of fault and failute, nor do i see the complications associated with BF4 for BF5. That was a new console generation, thisis not. That was new netcode and server experiences world wide, bf 5 is not. That was a multi platform release across different hardware and code requirments, BF5 is not.

    So i am not as foegiving as i see dice and ea only respond to bottom line influence now. So guesswhat you dont get a piece of my bottom line anymore. And maybe then you will adapt and change your appaling manner in the way the end user is being treated. I doubt ea and dice will, but i hope.because BF was really the only thing keeping me gaming anymore.
