At first, I thought it was just me since I play on my gaming laptop (portable for university), but it turns out this is a universal problem. The game keeps stuttering and dropping fps in game. But yeah DICE dropped game support so not much can be done. They are making players go to BF6 for sure with this move. Not gonna happen.
Same here buddy. EA needs to fix this i am facong this issue on my PS4 slim since 3-4 days. My ps4 slim is working fine on ssd everything is working fine except Battlefield V. I am using ssd on my slim from 14 months now and had no issues so far. But since 3-4 days i am facing this shutter issue or fps drop whatever it is.. The game is unplayable whenever i start a strategic conquest in any server available even with the best ping. When it started. I select the class and start to play.. All it does is pause the screen every 1-2 seconds i a loop and is unplayable. First i thought it was my PS4 CPU Throttling. So I've cleaned my already cleaned ps4 slim and the replace the thermal paste arctic MX-6 from the repair shop. Then i came back and rebuild database, then deleted Both game and save files.. Then reinstalled game then tried playing and it's same shuttering. Then I've completely reinstalled ps4 system software to clean everything and a fresh start. then again downloaded the game but still same when going to strategic conquest because this only the mode which have more than 7-8 servers, Other things like tactical conquest or any other mode have only 1-2 servers or not at all. And i am playing battlefield v since more than 2 years now everyday for like 5-6 hours daily. But the shuttering is happening from 4 days now.. itstarts as soon as my map is loaded and i spawn in game. I currently only have installed battlefield V right now, and there's almost 350GB left on my 512GB SSD. All other things are working fine. Even the loading, game menu is fine. And other apps are working fine without any problem. Then i thought, its maybe the SSD issue then i suddenly found this post and now i am **bleep** sure its not my SSD issue. I've already been started searching for new SSD or hdd from last night. But these semiconductor crisis is going on and all prices are increased by 4X in India. But now today I'll try another game like call of duty or any other multiplayer game and let you know guys if that works fine or not...
But reading to this post i now know that its not me alone. So i might definitely not the ssd issue. Please EA fix this please.
