VOIP not disabled despite being off in audio menu.

Summarize your bug Squad VOIP active despite being turned off in the audio menu
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn the VOIP off in the menu and don't have party chat active. Then join a squad using VOIP.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can hear my squadmates
What should be happening instead? I shouldn't hear my squadmates

Turning off the VOIP in the audio menu is bugged. Squad audio persists despite being turned off. 

Turning it on and off again each time one starts the game can temporarily disable VOIP.

    Same here, Xbox one, VOIP set to off yet first time I start the game, it's always on, and you have to set it to on and off to disable. Seems to reset if you quit out of a orund and choose a different game mode, too (keeps itself set to off, but you can hear other squadmates with mikes again) Annoying/privacy concerns as it is listening to my mike even though I have it set not to....

    I have the opposite issue actually. I can not hear anyone even when in a squad. I see the mic icon moving but no sound.
