Why is NOBODY throwing out ammo boxes?

Question

I remember playing lots of Bad Company 2 10+ years ago. Ammo boxes were everywhere. Or you could just shoot the ammo guy with a pistol and he would instantly drop it.

NOWADAYS it is quite common for me to go one or several matches without seeing a single dropped ammo box in BF 5. NOT EVEN ONE. Even when I go right in the face of the ammo guy and shoot him with the pistol he ignores me and runs past me.

You want me to shoot that tank? Cool. Sure. Just give me some ammo. You want me to throw out more smokes? Give me ammo. You want more spotting flares above the objective? GIVE ME AMMO!

Don't give me the "ammo pouch exists" BS. That's not how it works. The ammo box is a direct upgrade in every way that is unlocked quite fast. EVERYONE has the ammo box unlocked. I see no level 1-5 guys who don't have it yet.

What happened to the BF community? I want to have ammo boxes again when I play other classes.

@Andretti2014 that's better than what happens to me.
i'm not playing bf5 all the time and when i play squad leaders always kick me out of the squads as if i have covied 19 🙂 that's so disappointing but comparing with bf1 i can play in a squad with people i never meet before for a couple of matches without that feeling with bf5 at all.
i think the atmosphere and the players ages is the reason why that happens on bf5.

@Andretti2014As an Odd Job Man , I'm all over the place from Life to Life , depending on the kinds of situations I feel a need to respond to.Unfortunately this kind of makes me ; at times ; a poor Squad mate .But , if I've determined that squading-up is the thing to do next , I'm either coming with Ammo , or with Explosives , depending on YOUR needs .We're still out there .

First of all, we are talking about a level 415 guy. With a SiCk ghillie suit on top. So it's not a noob. It took me a solid 1 minute of shooting him with a pistol and screaming REQUEST AMMO until he reacted. And then he threw an ammo pouch at me. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL. So let me get this straight. You are level 415. You are rocking such expensive skins. You have been playing this game for probably over 1000 hours. And you are using the useless starter ammo pouch, not the box. WHAT ARE YOU DOING???

No. He is not alone. I notice lots of high level players who use the noob pouch or never give ammo.

I just wanna go back in time. It is just sad how the BF community has changed. It is completely unrecognizable.

Yes, I could give lots of examples from other classes just running and gunning call of duty style but this was just about the ammo.

You can get more exp using pouches.&nbsp; People ignore the crate
