Why microstuttering shown p in BF V

Thank you for reading it

Why microstuttering shown up in BF V and even games like ac odyssey , origins, but not with "some games" after i switched to 165hz Gsync monitor with dp cable from 60 hz monitor with hdmi ?, even i already used rtss with stable frame time ?. And The BF V's microstuttering was more severe than the other games that have the microstuttering too.

I appreciate to someone wants to give a hand.

  • @Muvlikhun Hey,

Can you try resetting your setting by deleting Settings folder in My Documents>>Battlefield V directory?
  • @Muvlikhun DX12?

If so, this is normal when first loading into a map.

The stuttering is due to the DirectX shaders being cached, it'll go away once you've visited all areas of the map.

The only other way of stopping it is to change from DX12 to DX11, Though if you use DXR ( Raytracing ) you won't be able to use it on DX11.

@LOLGotYerTags really apreciate you yertags. it is when i used 60 hz monitor before. but now after i changed to 165hz its having stutter , or micorstuttering. why is that ?
  • can you tell me what your PC is?

I noticed after many tries that BF5 probably has slight bug in the engine engine and perhaps too many video options.

I only have micro stutters right after I die but even that should not happen on my PC:

    ryzen 3900+

    rtx 2070

    48GB ram

    60hz monitor

DX11, everything on default in drivers.

and only happens right after death.

    @Muvlikhun

Can you post specification of both of your monitors here?

And also specification of your PC*

  • I’ve been playing fine since the game came out and then last weekend when the servers went down I’ve had massive FPS drops from my usual 130ish and now I’m on roughly 105-110 FPS but then I can drop down all the way to 50-60 FPS for a few seconds but then back up to 105 FPS but I used to be on 130fps before last week. Any help would be great it’s driving me mad 😡 not knowing what’s going on .

    my system is

    i7 9700k oc to 5ghz

    strix rtx 2070

    32gb ram 3000mhz

    750w psu

    win 10

  • So far I noticed micro stutters happen after a few minutes of play...doesn't happen right away.
