Once you receive new cars, you can change the composition of your train by going into your Train list, tapping the configure button on the train you want, and dragging the car you want on top of the car you want to change, or dragging passenger or cargo cars into its slots.
Empty slots are automatically filled with economy passenger cars that are available in the game from the start at no cost.
New types of cars are unlocked by progressing through Mass Transit Ranks
You can configure only the train cars that they own
You can own multiple cargo cars; there is no storage limit
You can mix and match cars on each train
You can change your train setup before loading the first items or passengers
You cannot configure trains that are on cooldown. But can still check the current configuration by tapping train info.
You can configure your trains as many times as you want, but once you've loaded passengers or cargo onto the train, you need to dispatch it first.
