Server lag is terrible
@Easports Online games are like swimming in sand while on ice. Is there a way you can fix this issue? It makes the games even more unpredictable and hampers in-game user skill. Dreadful.

Community ManagerI think you'd need to monitor your network traffic outside of the game somehow to track any changes with your ping. I don't know of an in-game way to do this.
Have you spoken to your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues? Since you're using their network equipment, you're going to be more limited with optimizing it for gaming. If you're able to log into the modem/router, check to see if it offers anything specific for gaming. I'm not optimistic that will help much though. There are many different variables that we don't have any control over. Your region, traffic, equipment, etc, are all part of this and most of that is outside of our control as we really can only monitor for issues with our servers.
So I should look at getting a different router or device that takes coax to ethernet that is geared towards gaming?

I'm not going to guarantee you'll see improvement. Typically, you're going to be better off with a modem and router designed with gaming in mind. I think it would be good to do some research on your particular setup and get some advice from others for optimizing this type of connection.
Did you bring this up to your ISP? They should be able to perform some testing on your connection. I will contact them and get back to you with what they say for sure.
