Can only hire C-level assistant coaches

Question

I’ve won 3 straight national titles without losing a game. &nbsp;After year one, I lost my defensive coordinator, who was A+, and my only options to replace him were all C grade. &nbsp;But after two years I built that assistant up to A+ only to lose him too, and once again my only options to replace him were C-level. &nbsp;A top tier program is going to attract A-level assistant coaches. &nbsp;Every time this happens, I get penalized in my Coach Prestige rating as well as how much the relevant players improve year over year. &nbsp;This makes absolutely no sense and feels like a huge step back every time I’m surprised with this. &nbsp;

This is a huge complaint for me.&nbsp;We're told we can't have a lot of coaching abilities because you need to use your assistant coaches, but your assistant coaches start out low and by the time they get good abilities, they are out the door and you're starting over with another crappy assistant.&nbsp;The computer is allowed to offer your assistant coaches jobs, but we can't go out and offer jobs to those at cpu schools, we have to wait for them to get fired.&nbsp;

Amen! I’m amazed more people aren’t posting about this massive flaw. Another I haven’t seen mentioned yet is the fact that part of what goes into coachability is your contract remaining years? What program is it costly resigning you five years at a time every time you win a national championship

C?&nbsp; Wow your lucky most of my choices are D or F.&nbsp; Have you noticed most of the coaches leaving for the NFL are D's.&nbsp; But not to worry, all my D and F coaches turn into A+ after just one season of being under me, what can I say, Imma genius LOL.&nbsp; Lets face it the assistant coaching is totally useless and non functional.&nbsp;&nbsp;

@tigercpa11 I mean I hired a "D" level assistant that had like 60 something upgrades......that grade is based on if they got fired or not. Ive noticed that most of my options are guys that were head coaches yet got fired, but have tones of tree points

@joshb42&nbsp;Is that what sets their grade? How silly, lots of good coaches get fired or forced to resign all the time.&nbsp; That rating should be based on skill level.&nbsp;&nbsp;Why are we limited to such a small selection of coaches? If teams can poach my coaches, why can't I do the same?&nbsp; Why do coaches get hired/fired at the same time, in real life it can happen anytime?
