CFP seeding still wrong

Just started a dynasty with Army.  I went 13-0 and made the CFP as the 4th seed.  Big 12 conference champ did not get the 4th seed as they should have.

    • The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded one through four and will receive a first-round bye. The fifth conference champion will be seeded where it was ranked or at No. 12 if it is outside the top 12 rankings. Non-conference champions ranked in the top four will be seeded beginning at No. 5. Because of this, the seeding, 1 through 12, could look different than the final rankings.

    Got this from the CFP website, so if you had Army and was the 4th highest ranked conference champion over the Big 12 champion then you were correctly ranked.

    I would need a bit more context on this, especially since it seems that the majority of users don't seem to know how the new 12-team format will work. 

    Were you the 4th highest rated conference champion? How were the other teams ranked around you?

    My understanding is that the 4 power conference winners are the top 4 seeds.  I just went 12-1 with Army and lost the playoff berth to a 10-3 Louisiana team.  Makes no sense.

    @Sgoforth5 For it to work properly on seeding you need to have 8 teams in a conference for the champion to properly be a top 4 seed. EA didn’t share this info but I found out on my own from a guy who was having the same issue.

    The first 4 spots are still reserved for the 4 power 4 conference champions. Only 1 GO5 champion would make it. The reason it isn’t working properly is because the big 12 must have less than 8 teams in it in his league. If all power 4 conferences have 8 teams and a conference championship game it will work properly on the game.

    @cutcarter No they aren't see above copied directly from CFP website, they voted/amended seeding rules in February to change to just the highest 5 conference champs get auto-bids the 4 highest ranked conference champs get seeds 1-4.
