Coaching in general is very minimal. Starting with assistance coaches who you have NO interaction with, they just disappear, no way to persuade them to stay.
You should have an office where you can schedule visits with; Players to discuss game issues and school problems. Asst. coaches to talk about recruiting, next week game plan. Boosters to raise money for athletic facilities and educational facilities so you can raise prestige in those areas. School administrators to encourage support for the athletic programs for prestige boosts. Media to raise attention for the program. Visiting recruits to sell them on committing.
You should be able to be on the practice field to monitor, teach and encourage players and coaches.
These and MANY more things a real coach does yet sadly NONE are in the game.
