Do Coaching Abilities Do Anything?

The only noticeable coaching abilities that I have seen come from Recruiter and Tactician. I’ve been experimenting with Talent Developer and Architect and can’t say that I notice much of a difference. I know there’s no difference in Transfer interest even though I have all positions unlocked. Just went to the playoffs with a 4.5 star prestige program and didn’t have a single transfer interested in me. Same went for the two years prior.

Maybe the skill cap does increase for players from Architect, but there is no good way to track it. You have to try to remember what 85 guys had. I’d love to see some improvement to the XP system for players and coaching alike. Madden had a a nice progression screen within the player card showing exactly how much xp they earned for each thing accomplished - the same could be done for players in CFB25 and the coaching XP breakdown could be added to the weekly slides when you advance.
