I want to love this game, but the sim engine is unplayable. The sim is just constant upsets, and 5 star schools going 5-7. Of course I want to see a few big upsets every now and then, but right now they're seeming to occur more often than the big team winning. I also want to add that the ranking system is broken. 11-2 conference champs shouldn't be behind in the rankings to a 9-4 team in their conference. Not to mention how many 3+ loss teams are ranked top 4 even when there are teams with much much better records. Is there a plan to patch any of this? Because this has me wanting to get a refund and simply go play NCAA 14. Edit: and I want to note I agree with a lot of others that the 1star schools don't need to be so close in rating to 5 star schools. Make Kennesaw a 55 overall if the elite schools are going to be low to mid 90s. There is a gap in real life, but not in this game.

100%. The game is broken in it's current state. This needs to be the number one fix above all else.
I'm on week 4 of my dynasty and already:
Alabama lost to Western Kentucky
Clemson lost to Appalachian State and then proceeded to beat Georgia
Florida State lost to Memphis and Boston College
Miami lost to USF
Notre Dame lost to Purdue
Oklahoma lost to Tulane

Absolutely the most glaring issue by far. And 'unplayable' isn't hyperbole.
After ~3 years, the rosters of 95% of teams are exactly as good as one another. Wyoming could stack up well against tOSU. This is parity gone berserk.
#1 team in the nation is 9-3 Clemson
Only 2 players in the entire nation ran for >1000 yards, and none rushed for 1100 even
Leading tackler in the country had like 60 tackles.
I quit my dynasty because it's just not worth playing. Spend all that time recruiting and no matter how well you do every game is a coinflip. No point.
This is embarrassing, EA.

My biggest issue is the RB position is useless in simulation right now also I can’t dedicate how often my team runs or passes the ball

Dynasty sim realism and player editing will determine whether I purchase this game or not.

Totally agree with OP. Maybe consider putting this in the bugs forum as well, with some screenshots and data showing how bad it is?

If they'd bothered to test it, like AT ALL, they'd see the issues immediately.
Completely senseless immersion busting errors that an ounce of thought or care would've avoided. But that was true for sim engines on NCAA 09-14 so I'm not holding my breath for a fix.
Thankfully there are better cfb sims that some dude in a basement with zero budget make

Sim logic in dynasty is really bad. Way too many FCS upsets and bad teams beating elite programs. A one off scenario is cool and feels real, but consistently seeing Bama lose to WKU is obnoxious.

Oo🤭ooo I am playing a dry run Dynasty & still in week 1. Took someone from every conference & one was Western Kentucky. Have yet to face Bama. I expect them to Roll but not I have hope if the pissy sim engine can do...hopefully I can too!

This is by far the biggest issue I have with Dynasty itself. I just had Vandy face Georgia for the SEC championship... in YEAR 1. Even if they don't want to lower schools overalls (they dont want to hurt peoples feelings), tune the sim engine so that overall has a bigger impact on the sim itself. Just increase the value of a 90 overall vs an 85, or 90 vs an 80 or 90 vs 75. So on and so forth.
It should be EXTREMELY rare a powerhouse like Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, etc etc looses to a G5. It should even be rare for mid-level P5 schools to lose to them, but right now its happening multiple times a week.
