- Dirty_Smeegs_3311 months agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Mako Can you help me with these two issues?
My roster screens give me waaaaay different pipelines than my recruiting screen. Random ones! Sometimes the entire state is odd and sometimes the level of the pipeline is just off.
Also, I have tried stacking all 3 coaches with New England pipeline, and I do not get any visual indicator that there is any increased benefit. It is either bugged or working as intended and we just need more info in to how this system works. - EA_Mako11 months ago

Hi @Dirty_Smeegs_33,
Do you happen to have any screenshots showing the different pipelines on your roster versus the recruiting screen? - Dirty_Smeegs_3311 months agoSeasoned Veteran
@EA_MakoI can see if I can figure out how to do that. But as UMASS, my pipelines are (silver) New England, NY, NJ, MD, VA, GA (for some weird reason) (bronze) PA, OH, MI, CA, FL…. But in my roster screen on the right hand side showing me player details I get all sorts of weird levels and pipelines. Like blue tier idaho, no New England Pipelines, and then gold pipelines for NY, NJ.
- Dirty_Smeegs_3311 months agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Mako I just double checked all the screenshots... not a single pipeline is correct when compared to the recruiting menus.
Also true for JMU. The pipelines shown in recruiting (which are correct) are different than ones visible on the roster screen that shows players currently on the roster. The roster screen pipelines (visible next two the players' hometown) are not even close to being correct and don't appear to match the existing pipelines of any other school.

Hey @Dirty_Smeegs_33, thanks for taking the time to grab those screenshots.
You and @xLEMx have both mentioned roster screen pipelines, can I ask where you're seeing those?
If you've moved a player to your roster, they should no longer be in a pipeline which seems to be what your screenshots are reflecting. I'm not quite sure where you're seeing incorrect schools listed on the roster screen.
- Dirty_Smeegs_3311 months agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Mako It’s on the right hand side of the screen where the players hometown is listed on the player details…. Same place as the recruiting screens.
Literally in the screenshots that Smeegs posted. Look next to the players' hometown on the roster screen card.
Obviously every player doesn't show a pipeline. But the ones that do in the roster screen are incorrect. And there are others that are missing correct pipeline designations. (If they were even intended to be on that screen).
I am not sure if it affects anything, but it is certainly not correct. Maybe not even intended to be there? (As you mentioned pipelines don't seem to have any meaning once a recruit is on the roster)
A somewhat related issue is that all NIL players in dynasty that are from Delaware incorrectly show their pipeline as New England instead of Tidewater on their "View Player Card" within the Roster Management screen.
This is does not affect the generated recruits which correctly align Delaware with Tidewater.

I'm missing where you're seeing any pipeline information next to the player's hometown.
Where you showed the pipeline details in the recruiting screen, here on the roster I see the Physical and Mental perks and no pipeline details which should be as expected.

@EA_MakoI also have the same issue that's being mentioned. In the screenshot you've posted Zach Amerson should show a silver pipeline by Groton, MA as UMass has a silver pipeline for MA in recruiting. David Reavis (screenshot above) shows a 4 pipeline by Pocatello, ID despite UMass having no ID pipeline, while Steven Johns and Giddeon Addai show gold pipelines for NJ and NY despite UMass having silver pipelines for these in the recruiting screenshots. So the pipelines shown in the roster page by each player's hometown don't seem to reflect the recruiting pipelines for the school. I also have this issue.
Apologies if I've also misunderstood @Dirty_Smeegs_33 though I don't think I have! - EA_Mako11 months ago

Thanks @oak696.
Without having screenshots of the same player in Recruiting and then on the Roster to compare, and given most of the roster images don't even show an icon, I wanted to be sure there wasn't some other explanation here.
We'll pass thing along be looked into.
- Dirty_Smeegs_3311 months agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Mako Thank you! Yes, how oak explained it is 100% accurate.
Would you also pass this along? It got a lot of attention from the community but no mod ever confirmed they would pass any of it along. Thank you!

Could you have someone look into “proximity to home” logic. I cover it in that comprehensive post thread I sent you but figured it was worth highlighting here since it’s related to pipelines. UMass has B proximity for Massachusetts kids and A+ proximity for NJ kids… makes no sense.

I'm here in January 2025 wondering if this has been explained or resolved?
I just started an offline dynasty, still uear one, and im perplexed by this issue/bug.
As Eastern Michigan, i have players on my roster who have gold and blue pipeline pings on their player cards, but in Recruiting, the best EMU has is silver.
My guess is that EA'S use of AI messed this up, just like how it incorrectly lists bowl game wins on some teams timelines
