Unable to play H2H dynasty game

My GT is OsoDeChocolate. I’m trying to play an H2H game in my online dynasty. This is on the X box series X. We are both getting notifications about one player not having the latest updated version of the game. Naturally we have checked and there is no update to be downloaded  we have both reset the game, console, and modem. We have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

We are in year 29 and have been playing since the first week the game came out. This is the first time anyone in the league has received this error message.
