That being said again while I understand the limitations for team builder rivalries—because replacing a school & thus removing a rival out of the game, might break it for another team—nevertheless, it’s a huge bummer. We should be able to pick our rivals. And we should probably be able to pick it at the start of a dynasty mode in case we upload multiple custom schools.
For some custom schools, there’s often no way to replace a school to get the rivalries that you want, and certainly not without losing a school that you wouldn’t want to replace in the first place (i.e. I don’t want to replace UCLA to get a rivalry with USC) For example, simply put, if I wanted to make another Maryland FBS school, who would I replace to get a natural geographic rivalry with Maryland? It would be weird/bad if I had to replace a Penn State/Rutgers to do that, because now why am I rivals with Ohio State.
This should really be changed if possible. Let us add/edit custom rivalries for team builder and possibly all schools at the start of dynasty.
