CFB EA Play Trial Has Expired Error
Hey I have Xbox ultimate pass. I recently downloaded college football 26 and when I start the game a message says that my ea play trial has expired. Why is it doing this?

IMAGONNAWIN9 Thanks for posting that thread. That will help get more eyes on it. It's super frustrating because it can work for some but not everyone, even with the workarounds.

xxdukeballerxx It is being looked into, as there are a couple of issues around EA Play at the moment. The linked thread is where we suggest keeping an eye on if the workarounds there do not work for you.
This is an error that's gone on for 2 months. Allegedly, EA is monitoring the issue. I'm not sure what that means technically. In a literal sense, that might just mean they look at posts on this forum. We don't get a lot of information outside of these vague updates. You're not going to get any kind of technical detail from EA, and for the foreseeable future, you are not going to play this game, sorry.
Since you asked why, the belief, which has been mildly confirmed by EA, is that there is a licensing issue on EA's side. There's some kind of bad handshake between Xbox and EA, where EA is giving Game Pass users the license to a trial version, not the full game.
You can follow along in this thread, though there's not much to follow, just a lot of angry people... Lastly, I'd encourage you not to buy the game, as it would reward EA for this problem.
