I created a playbook and rated the plays in gameplan for every situation. Coach suggestions are the same 6 plays over and over, regardless of down/distance/situation. Also it defaults to suggesting Onside Kick every time. Makes the game unplayable until this is patched.
I’m well under the play/set/formation limits. If there’s a ratings limit I didn’t hit it I was still able to rate plays.
Any word on a fix here?

This issue is ongoing for me too. Pretty disappointing since this is one of my favorite things to do. Creating your own scheme and identity and seeing your recruited players run it is awesome.
I haven’t been able to get any diversity in play-calling despite going extreme with “star ratings” for each situation, so this is definitely a big problem. I wonder if this is impacting the existing/team playbooks too.
I just don’t get how it worked fine in 25 but they broke it here…how…
It’s so frustrating spending all that time in a custom book for it to not work at all. Needs fixed ASAP

Yeah this is extremely irritating. I spent probably 6 hours over the course of a week getting my playbook set up before playing a down. Custom playbooks has always been the best part of the game for me dating back to the early 2000’s. I know they’ll fix it eventually, but c’mon EA. Be better.
