Only One Team Recruiting Bug

I have a dynasty file where I have two teams being rebuilt on the same file. I am at the year 2029 and found a player who has no teams besides UMass on his board. He started out in his "Top 5", although it was the very first week of recruiting. I simulated one week because I thought he would instantly commit since I am the only one on his board, but he didn't. (It is now "week 0" on the file) I have been playing for quite some time (both cfb25 and cfb26) and have never encountered anything like this. I am happy to answer any questions about it if it could help figure out why this is going on. By the way, it is only this recruit like this. No other recruit generated in the whole class is like this.
