The problem is you are wanting to be able to edit players they have paid NIL too. Although I think they have overdone their protections such as preventing rating adjustments by the user. I don't think they can allow you to whatever you want to that player.
However, they could add a third option to the dynasty startup that allowed for you to use a completely randomized roster. I just have no clue what that would entail for the programming portion on their end.
So, actually, I'm not looking to edit the original roster. I would like to be able to create a save roster under a different name and be able to edit THAT roster, not the original one. That one would remain unchanged. The saved roster would have no assigned names and would be fully editable something like NCAA Football 14.
If you can recall, in NCAA CFB 14, you could save a file with random selected names which could be editable and the player fully customizable (height, weight, skin color, equipment, attributes, bio info etc.).
I created legendary all time rosters from editing EVERY position from ALL of the teams, from (Akron to Wisconsin). CFB 26 only allows for 14 or 15 teams to be created and that has to be through the Teambuilder website. I am not looking to create new teams, just to edit them. This is capable with other sports games (including Madden). I believe it is also capable with CFB games.

Won't happen. It's a different agreement. Recreating real players from a random roster is what led to the game being canned and EA getting sued. There is no player association that can negotiate for all players collectively. To mitigate that EA made a blanket deal for all players. End of story.
