Another ugly example of the logic making a truly terrible decision.
This looks like a very easy walk-in TD for Love, the highest rated back in the game.
But, instead, we're less than a foot from the goal line and are going to literally cut back away from it because there's an unblocked player 3-4 yards away who literally cannot touch us before we cross the goal line for the score.
And as a result, we give up ground and go down at the 2-3 yard line.
I feel like this sequence is about as clear as it can get that CPU RBs are way too prone to wanting to cut away from disengaged defenders to the point that it is hurting their own performance. He literally has a TD handed to him by his OL and actively runs away from the goal line to try and run around this guy to the outside.
