Game Pulling Starters

In an online dynasty league with some buddies and in the middle of my game against one of them, my starter was mysteriously pulled? Not injured, nor was there even close to enough wear and tea r on  albeit was the 3rd game of the season. It was just him, second string got pulled too, leading to my punter playing qb. Again, no injuries to him either. Additionally, there was no "keep fresh" selected in the resting options because of them being my qbs. The rest were on keep fresh as this is always what I do on offense. Lastly, the redshirts were being subbed in as well. Both on their own, as well as when I would bench starters in the online dynasty game, against CPU.  I have not updated the sub setting outside of the game either.
