Rubberbanding
Up 20-0 with 2 minutes left in the third quarter having very little difficulty with LSU in a playoff game in RTG, and then all of a sudden LSU's receivers start playing like they're all rated 95+ and my DBs play like they are all 75. Then on offense, as I play QB, we can't run at all anymore and my WRs start dropping passes, DBs start running my own WR's routes DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THEM so I can't pass, and then you start making my QB throw high all the time so the dumb drop animation can kick in to ensure my passes aren't caught. Now it's 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter and LSU is up 21-20. This is obvious rubberbanding and manipulation of a game to manufacture what you think is excitement. It cannot be that hard to simply let the player's ratings determine outcomes, can it? It seems to ensure a close game you raise the CPU's ratings, lower my team's, so we can't do anything until the score is equal. It seems this game is fundamentally flawed with decisions to create or manufacture things like this. Just let the game play out naturally according to the players' ratings. It's easy to do.
