Love my drones. They are irreplaceable. I've stolen countless games with their speed getting on to pads. I also shred shockwave, chem, regular infantry, snipers, flame, and machine gun crews with them.
Dogs and any other unit that doesn't have rockets can't kick them off the pad.
I am a scarab user myself and find them to be very useful. Im also a drone user like the op. And i find it quite easy to counter scarabs with drones. Whenever i see scarabs i feel my chances of winning have gone up. Basically all u need to do is send in 2 drone squads at the same time. Ull lose 1 drone squad worth 20 while he loses 30 AND the pad. As nod i use 2 venoms to take them out and it still works wonders. I just had a game where my opponent scarab rushed and killed my harvestor and totally caught me off guard and had scarabs sitting on all 3 pads and still ended up losing. This is why u never see top players using scarabs.
