2 Yellow Kill Intended by Designer?

I found there is no way to secured a pad even with 3 units stand in and it can still be turned into yellow.

So technically even if you have fortified 2 pads vs 1 controlled by enemy, you can still lose at the final millisecond when some unblockable flies fly to your pads, even they got killed instantly.

In a game I was wonder why the missile suddenly changes side by watching replay I found a poor talon step into the pad and instantly got killed and there is a time not even noticeable 1 red vs 2 yellow and the missile launches to me before I figured out what happened.

I think it will be better that warhead also cancels when switches side otherwise it will be too tricky to defend a steal.

  • So, I do this myself - it's a viable tactic in the game and you can use it just as well.  Use Drones and you can machine gun routes back and forth over the enemy.  You get to Troll-lalalalalaala all the way to the next match afterwards too.

That being said - being able to do that doesn't seem to be in the spirit of this, or any, tactical game.  A fly over does not establish battle field control.

Yea, doing a fly over, or in the case of 3 flying units, walking a unit under a pad to contest for now is a thing, as well as walking a unit back and forth on a square to prevent the enemy from stepping on the pad. It's a little scummy to do to secure a win, but at the end of the day, that is what we are all fighting over so...

Both this technique and walking back and forth on a pad/area is a common sight in th higher leagues. =/
