    @therealmrtimm

    Thank you for the nice long post, it was useful to refer to in solving my problem with getting CnC3 working. (I too had the "Fatal Error: Exception in exception handler")

    I found a solution that worked for me. It seems like many people are linking the re-distributable pack 9 from 2010 as a driver solution, which works some of the time and not others according to the forum replies. It certainly did not work on my computer.

    I found a similar solution on the steam forums, and it got my game working:

    For those with Intel graphics, the solution is not DirectX, but an older version of the Intel graphics driver. This is Intel's fault, not Microsoft's.

    I have an i7 Surface Pro 3 with an Intel HD5000 graphics card inside.

    To fix my Kane's Wrath problem, I went to driverscape.com, then Intel, then Graphic Video Cards, then Intel(R) HD 5000, then looked for version 10.18.10.3643.

    Downloaded the driver, ran it, overwrote the new driver with the older version, rebooted, and Kane's Wrath worked again!!

    I tried this and the game now works on my computer with no problems.
    I'm running a Asus X555L laptop with windows 10.
    For the record, I'm running Tiberium Wars (no Kane's Wrath) from a DVD retail version of the game (no Steam).
