C&C Generals Zero Hour Error unable to load saved game

C&C Generals Zero Hour, Board loaded with buildings and army. Freeze 3/4 way to win. Saved game when it unfroze for a second. Exit game and re-enter but get a Error unable to load saved game and it shows it's location. What now?

    By the way, I have 64gig ram, I9, 2tb solid state for the game only.
