Honestly I was told to just contact the retailer. I’ve basically given up on if and will probably sell it when I get the chance. I will probably just stick to c&c 3 you know?
yeah, same thing they told me as well , but guess what? EA IS THE RETAILER in my case , and they didnt help me either so yeah. it is sad tbh that EA wont help us

Guys, which OS are your running? Did you make sure to update Steam to the latest version? And can you tell me in all honesty (otherwise nobody can help you) where you bought the actual game key? From steam directly or a (online) retailer? And if it was a retailer; from which retailer?
Edit: Didn't the guys from EA chat-support suggest to provide you guys with the Origin-version (Ultimate Collection version) of CNC 4?

Ea chat support was useless. Extremely useless. I have a physical copy and I bought it from amazon. But I’m just gonna try and sell it as it’s useless to me

@TonaSarrin did you buy a used disc? that is, has it already been unpacked? if so, then no one will help you, except the one who unpacked it for the first time and activated the key. The key is activated only once and is tied to only one EA account, which means that together with the open disk and the activated key, you should have been given the login + password to the ea account on which the key was activated, and this is prohibited by the EA license agreement and is generally unlikely that account has only one game and someone will give it to you ...

They didnt even try to give us any solutions, so in my case i just gave up and stoped playing. Im disgusted that with all the proofs (and here i mean by providing a COPY of the reciepe i got when i boguth the game, the proof that i dont have the game on my account, and even the FACT THAT STEAM CONFIRMED that EA generated me a key that is already sold) ; ea support didnt gave a thing about my problem. SO after tons of money spent on CALLING USA support and France support , and even chat support, i just gave up because they way they treat customers its just a shame.
And as everyone can see, im not the only one having this issue and yet , no one from EA support is even bnother to answer. But the moderators gave me a warning 5 MINUTES after my post because i was telling the truth and yeah. how FAIR is that? NOT solving the real problem , but isntead war the user with the TRUTH in his hand.

@mrtnptrsBro chat support doesnt help in any way, the on response i've ever had from that is that ITS NOT EA FAULT i got a key GENERATED BY EA that is already used. How FAIR and COOL you find that? Its just a shame that customers have to experience such a bad SUPPORT even tho its EA fault for providing us expired KEYS or already USED ones
Edit : the even worst thing is that EA got our money and we didnt got the prodcut , and the support wont even care about it. THIS IS SAD (i've already printed all the conversations with EA chat support and i got all my calls recorded)

@TonaSarrin As you bought the already used key at Amazon, you should contact them about it; not Steam or EA. Can you send me a link to the exact Amazon-page where you bought the game from? Maybe I can help you a bit 🙂
@TERORISTU You sadly didn't answer any of my questions. Could you please answer all the questions from my last post in detail? Otherwise I can't work with you towards a solution/explanation for your problem.
