Guys, which OS are your running? Did you make sure to update Steam to the latest version? And can you tell me in all honesty (otherwise nobody can help you) where you bought the actual game key? From steam directly or a (online) retailer? And if it was a retailer; from which retailer?
Edit: Didn't the guys from EA chat-support suggest to provide you guys with the Origin-version (Ultimate Collection version) of CNC 4?
Ea chat support was useless. Extremely useless. I have a physical copy and I bought it from amazon. But I’m just gonna try and sell it as it’s useless to me

@TonaSarrin did you buy a used disc? that is, has it already been unpacked? if so, then no one will help you, except the one who unpacked it for the first time and activated the key. The key is activated only once and is tied to only one EA account, which means that together with the open disk and the activated key, you should have been given the login + password to the ea account on which the key was activated, and this is prohibited by the EA license agreement and is generally unlikely that account has only one game and someone will give it to you ...
